Looking to take a few days break in between flights? With our early bird flights fast running out, we know you will be thinking about where to stay on your wonderful European Trip.
Here are two of our favourite hotels that we’d like to share with you in Dubai.
Palazzo Versace Dubai
With only two Palazzo Versace’s in the world, one being on the Gold Coast and the other Dubai, why not stop by and enjoy a little bit of luxury?
It’s here you can unwind by the pool, sip on a refreshing cold drink and let the humming of the plane escape you.
This hotel has it all, thee outdoor pools where you relax and catch up on that lost sleep, a day spa that is complimentary to all guests offering a shower that emanates a Caribbean Storm, yes, thunder and lightning included! A heated stone bed which will soothe those aches and pains, as well as a steam room and sauna to eliminate all of those toxins from your body, you could spend all day here.
The foyer/lounge area is gorgeous, with music from the grand piano playing in the background, you can sit down to an Arabic coffee and try out their Tiramisu, the best I have ever had!
Offering 24 hour check in – that’s right, even if your plane arrives early, you can check into your room, none of this 3pm business! You won’t be disappointed when you arrive to your room. Rooms offer marble bathrooms with rain showers, centrally controlled lights and even electric curtains, just clap your hands and relax, everything is taken care of.
If you’d like to get out and about, the Palazzo Versace does offer a complimentary shuttle to the malls, you could also take a tour of Dubai or simply stroll the Dubai Creek area to soak up the local Arabic culture. If you’d like to know what tours you can do when visiting, make sure you ask us at Live Life Travel.
Sofitel Dubai the Palm Resort & Spa
Wanting to stay closer to the Palm? Even better, on the Palm? My next pick would be the gorgeous Sofitel Dubai the Palm Resort & Spa.
This is no ordinary hotel, situated right next to the infamous Atlantis Hotel, this resort is just as exquisite but without all of the tourists. When I stayed here in 2014, I never felt that it was over crowded and I also never wanted to leave, it’s truly a beautiful resort.
It’s here where you can literally drop your bags and flop onto a sun lounge. With access to your own private beach the resort feels a million miles away from being in a city such as Dubai. In the General Managers own words, “A luxury island retreat where chic Polynesian design combines with French flair. A unique 5-star beach resort on Dubai’s man made island of Palm Jumeirah.”
My advice for staying here is to book one of the suites, they come with a gorgeous bath tub that you can sit back in a read your favourite book, my kind of relaxation!
